Bids invited for 20,000 kids activity cash
Oxfordshire County Council has 20,000 of Community Chest funding to bring to life the play, leisure or community action ideas thought up by children and young people between the ages of five and 13.
There are four chances to apply for this funding. The closing dates for each application are as follows:
* June 30 2008
* September 26 2008
* December 19 2008
* March 27 2009
Councillor Louise Chapman, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families, said: "This is a chance for children and young people to get thinking, get planning and get doing! I hope lots of children will apply for this funding and will come up with some really inventive, positive ideas."
