This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a Federal Supply Schedule.
The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking sources to provide a LIFT HYGIENE CHAIR WITH SCALE.
The vendor shall be able to provide a Brand Name (Alenti, with scale Battery powered height adjustable) or equal offering the following salient characteristics:
Must be Commercial Grade
Must be CEE Tier II and Energy Star Qualified
Must be electric
Stackable due to space constraints
Stainless Steel Wash Basket
Microprocessor controls
One-Touch Cycle Selection
Front Serviceable
Reversible Door on Dryer
Minimum Capacity: Washer 3.2 cf to 4 cf / Dryer 6 cf to 8 cf
Overall height not to exceed 74
Overall width not to exceed 27
Overall depth not to exceed 29.5
Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal and whether or not this product is offered via Open Market or via FSS.
This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6545.
