Acquire training for Central Utility Plant operators to fulfill the Federal Building Personnel Training Act (FBPTA) requirement to train personnel responsible for the operation, maintenance, energy management, safety, and design functions of federally owned facilities
Proposals shall include a price quote at a firm-fixed price and the Proposed Instructors Resume reflecting the following Evaluation Criteria:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree - Engineering
Certification:
• American Society of Power Engineers Master Chief and Technical Instructor
• Energy Manager
• EPA Universal Technician
• Certified to administer and conduct the ASOPE one-year licensing examination
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in central utility plant management
• 5+ years of experience in central utility plant operator supervision
• 5+ years of experience as central utility plant operator
• 5+ years of experience as an educator
• 2+ years of experience in industrial control systems and/or building automation
• 2+ years of experience in chilled water generation & distribution
Competencies
• Blueprint drafting & CAD
• Piping &instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
• Advanced thermodynamics
• Fluid mechanics
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Emergency Response Training & Incident Command Structure (ICS)
• CPR/AED & First Aid Training
