Bamako, Mali and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Housing Development and Lease Opportunity
SUMMARY OF OFFERING:
Opportunity
The United States Government (USG) seeks one or more developers to construct and lease housing for two locations in West Africa - Bamako, Mali and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. As the developer, you will finance, design, develop, and operate a residential housing project in one or both of the project locations.
Project Locations
Bamako, Mali: 45 housing units
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso: 30 housing units
Lease Agreement
The USG will be the sole tenant of the residential housing projects. The USG anticipates entering into a long-term lease for each Project
location. The lease agreement will provide the USG with the right to extend the lease term further and/or purchase the property.
Two Phase Process The selection of a developer(s) for the projects will be a two-step
process.
Phase One: the USG seeks to identify the most qualified development teams and site locations.
Phase Two: the USG will invite selected respondents to prepare a detailed proposal outlining the scale, type, and configuration of
development being proposed.
