PROCUREMENT SYNOPSIS FOR SUPPLY POSTING IN FBO

Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for BACKSHELLS, STRAIGHT, 28 EA, and BACKSHELLS, 90-DEGREE, 84 EA, with options for additional quantities (16-93 EA) over the next three years. The material must be built in accordance with specifications MIL-DTL-28840E and MIL-DTL-28840D Supplement 1, which have been posted to FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9. The solicitation number issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is N0025319Q0229 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334417 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610.


Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments if applicable prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection.


Drawings referenced in the solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Act and are ONLY available to vendors/contractors appointed data custodian that are registered with Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at ww.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Restricted drawings and technical information are available through FedBizOpps.
