B-52 MUNITIONS STORAGE IGLOOS, MINOT AFB, NORTH DAKOTA
Munitions Storage Igloos consist of a standard Modular Storage Magazine (MSM) design for construction whereby eight (8) individual MSM will be constructed on a defined site with construction limits. Each MSM is approximately 1,580 GSF, with interior NSF dimensions of approximately 60' in length by 25' in width for a total of approximately 12,640 GSF. Work will require the placement of foundations and precast structures at locations indicated on the plans. Structures will require interior paint and lighting with sealed concrete floors and blast doors. Site work will require grading and pavements (PCC) per plans with all storage magazines receiving an earthen cover and lightning protection. Site security lighting will be required around the complex as well as security fencing around the site.
