BREASTFEEDING PEER COUNSELOR PROGRAM
Mandatory meeting 01/20/2010.
A maximum of $400,000 funds are available for the selected vendor(s) to
provide services in the area of the development and implementation of a
Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program to promote and support breastfeeding
as the premier method of infant nutrition to all WIC eligible pregnant and
breastfeeding women and their infants.
Contract renewal is possible for up to four additional year contingent on funding
availability and task performance.
Multiple contract awards are expected to be made. The amount of each
contract will be based on the volume of peer counselor services and/or number
of clients the bidder is able to handle or provide.
