TRANSMISSION LINE HARDWARE AND COPPER WIRE
Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) Office has a requirement for copper wire and various types of transmission line hardware, brand name or equal to varying manufacturers (depending on part needed, the brand name is Hughes Brothers, Anderson, Joslyn NGK Locke or Preformed).
The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price, contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Gering, Nebraska. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a competitive, small business set aside. The NAICS code is 335932; the applicable size standard is 1,000 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about July 16, 2018, at which time all information and attachments regarding the RFQ will be posted. Contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quote in order to be considered for award. DUNS number is required for SAM registration.
NOTE: Quotes shall be due by 2:00 p.m. EDT, July 27, 2018. Quotes shall be submitted via email to Carol Hammans, Contracting Officer (hammans@wapa.gov) or via FedConnect.net. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer, NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
