BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO: The Naval Postgraduate School is standing up an advanced armor materials development lab. This lab will be used to study advanced materials in support of higher mass efficiency. Required equipment for this lab will include hardness and surface roughness measurements. The requested testing equipment will include Brinell hardness, Rockwell, Vickers as well as a surface profilometer and surface coating thickness measurements. The following items are being procured: Brinnel hardness measurement device (1
EA), Rockwell hardness measurement device (1 EA), Micro Vickers Hardness Tester (1 EA), Surface Roughness gauge (1 EA) and Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge (1EA). See attached Request For Quote (RFQ) for further details.
