BRAND NAME AMICO HEAVY DUTY 15-H-2 STEEL BAR GRATING
The VA Central California Healthcare System is seeking a vendor who can provide the following:
Vendor will design, fabricate and install a grating system covering an existing utility trench located inside a warehouse building at the VA CCHCS-Fresno, California.
Grating system and supporting frame work will be constructed and installed per Federal, State and local requirements. Grating system shall be AMICO Heavy Duty 15-H-2, (2-1/4" x 5/16") non-serrated, with galvanized finish or equivalent. All grating sections shall be removable to accommodate access to the utility trench. Vendor shall provide structural calculations and shop drawings to the government for approval before commencing installation of grating system.
Finished grating system shall meet or exceed AASHTO H-15 rating.
Grating system will cover a concrete utility trench measuring approximately 23' x 5'.
