BPA - Gravel - NPS, Moab, Utah
The National Park Service intends to solicit for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for gravel, NAICS 212321, for delivery in the Moab, Utah area. It has been determined that a BPA will meet the needs of the government due to: exact items, quantities, and delivery requirements not known in advance and may vary considerably; a need to provide commercial supply items for one or more locations in a given area that do not have or need authority to purchase otherwise; the use of this procedure would avoid the writing of numerous purchase orders; there is no existing requirement contract for the same supply that the contracting activity is required to use. In establishing the BPA, parameters to limit purchases to individual items or commodity will be set; and past performance considered for dependable suppliers who offer quality supplies at consistently lower prices, and who have provided numerous purchases at or below the simplified acquisition threshold. A BPA may be set up with one or more business. Period of Performance is intended to be 09/01/2014 - 08/31/2015. Final date for receipt of requests for a complete bid set is 07/31/2014. The RFQ will request fixed prices for this time period and will be a Total Small Business Set Aside as certified online at sam.gov. FAR 13.303-2 and FAR 12 apply. A solicitation will be posted within 7 days.
