Synopsis:
The Department of the Interior (DOI), United States Geological Survey (USGS), Research Drilling Program (RDP) requests quotes from oil field type cementing service contractors that can provide cement, additives, equipment and service technology for Utah Geothermal project. We will need 3" ID steel casing end capped with Haliburton casing shoes. Cement shall be pumped through the pumping head down into 3" steel and fill annular space from TD (3000') to approximately 1000' below land surface (100' inside the surface casing).
The anticipated award is a Firm, Fixed Price Purchase Order. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
Contractors must have a current contractors' license issued by the government of Utah at the time quotations are due to be considered for award and must use appropriately-licensed subcontractors on this project.
The USGS contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract. The request for quotation (RFQ) package, including a detailed statement of work, will be available no sooner than the week of July 22, 2019. A site visit is not planned at this time. The site location will be provided with the RFQ and contractors are encouraged to visit prior to submitting their quote. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS 2017) code is 238120 - "Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractor". The associated small business size standard is $15.0M in average annual revenue. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is Z1PZ, "Maintenance of Other non-building facilities".
