BLU-136/B Next Generation Area Attack - Production:
This notice serves as a pre-solicitation notice/procurement synopsis for the BLU-136/B Next Generation Area Attack - Production. The Direct Attack Munitions Branch (AFLCMC/EBDA), Direct Attack Division (AFLCMC/EBD), Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB), Eglin AFB, FL, plans to award a firm-fixed price multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the production of the BLU-136/B area attack warhead. The manufacturing of the warhead case and all components shall be in accordance with the Government-owned and provided Technical Data Package (TDP). The TDP will only be provided to those contractors that are registered and active in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The Request for Proposal (RFP) will contain instructions for requesting the TDP and all information that is required in the request.
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332993 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The Government anticipates awarding two (2) or more contracts utilizing The Department of Defense Source Selection Procedures. Anticipated date of the RFP is on or about 31 July 2019. The Government will not provide a hard copy of the RFP. Future information pertaining to this requirement will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties should monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes.
Foreign participation is not authorized as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor.

**NOTE: The RFP will have instructions as to how to receive the TDP. The TDP will not be released to anyone except the person listed in box 3 - Data Custodian of the DD Form 2345 for the DLA JCP. It is highly advised that if you wish to participate in this effort that your DD Form 2345 be updated and filed to reflect current personnel, etc..**
