The Bureau of Land Management and the successful recipient will collaboratively work to improve the management of aquatic resources on public lands.

Goal 1 - Develop and deploy invasive species outreach materials targeted to anglers, hunters, and boaters, using the industry and government standard of Clean Drain Dry, through 1) advertisements in state game and boating regulation booklets and sportsmen magazines and 2) invasive species awareness materials to be used at public launches,

Goal 2 - Develop on-the-ground cold-water fisheries habitat restoration projects for native trout and other species.

Goal 3 - Develop on-the-ground cold-water fisheries habitat restoration projects which will also support riparian restoration in Greater Sage-Grouse priority habitats

Goal 4 - Provide technical support for aquatic resource assessments during land use planning, utilizing existing landscape or regional assessments such as the Conservation Success Index and Native Salmonid Population Viability Analysis.

Goal 5 - Develop working lands/conservation ranching initiatives which support conservation of native trout fisheries using land management practices which support healthy, balanced ecosystems. Goal 6 - Provide professional development and networking opportunities for BLM staff through participation in a national professional society, including participation at regional and national annual meetings.
