Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to provide bio-hazardous waste collection and removal from the Naval Branch Medical Health Clinic at NAS Meridian, MS.

The work shall be located at Naval Air Station, Meridian, Mississippi. The Contracting Officer will indicate the exact location.

Minor materials and work not specifically mentioned herein but necessary for the proper completion of the specified work shall be furnished without additional cost to the Government.

a) Pickups are to be scheduled for every Thursday, beginning no later than the first (1st) Thursday following the date of award, to be performed between the hours of 0800-1400. (8:00am b 2:00pm)
b)This schedule is subject to change, at the discretion of the Contracting Officer, should the aforementioned hours prove detrimental to the operations of the Health Clinic or not in the best interest of the Government.

c)Contract term is for a period of 12 months, with an option to extend the contract for a further 12 months. Under no circumstances shall this contract exceed 24 months.

Contractors are required to submit to the Contracting Officer any waste removal tickets, receipts, or proof of disposal with each submitted invoice, to include any documentation required by local, state or federal law. Failure to provide this documentation can result in invoice rejection or payment retention until such documentation is received.

Provide collection and disposal services of bio-hazardous medical waste from the Branch Medical Clinic, Naval Air Station, Meridian Ms. The contractor shall assume title of waste production upon collection and will provide ongoing infection control consultation certificates of destruction.
Contractor shall follow proper guidelines as provided by OSHA and the State of Mississippi. The contractor shall provide leak resistant disposable containers for packaging waste. Containers will be boxes, bags, and 6 roll around tubs. Average monthly volume of materials produced by clinic is 10 boxes monthly with an average of 30lbs./box.
