The 47th Contracting Flight has a single source requirement to replace an existing Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH). Over the years this system has detiriorated and this system is required in order to keep the airfield clear of bird hazards. The Scare Wars System provided by Reed-Joseph International Company, is the only known company that provides an integrated system that allows the users to fully control the system from one location while also including capability to remotely activate a location from anywhere on the airfield.

This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis shall be voluntary.

The attached Limited Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time.

All questions regarding this Sources Sought shall be submitted in writing via email. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. If interest is present and firm is capable of meeting this requirement please respond via email to the POCs listed in this announcement by no later than 3:00 PM central time Mar 19, 2019.
