BASEWIDE FURNITURE MAINTENANCE
This is a solicitation , which is expected to result in award of a Best Value firm fixed price contract with one (1) base period and two (2) one-year option periods for Basewide Systems/Modular/Freestanding Furniture Maintenance services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. for commercial services, i.e. Basewide Furniture Maintenance, as described under the paragraph below titled "Requirement." The solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the solicitation; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) the price fair and reasonableness of proposals received.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for 1:00 PM (EDT) 12 June 2014. This information must be provided in order to ensure access to the base. For scheduling purposes, adherence to the instructions listed in Attachment 1, Addendum to 52.212-1 is required.
A detailed description of the requirement including a solicitation, additional instructions to offerors, evaluation factors, performance work statement Service Contract Act wage determination, and a pricing schedule are pvovided in the attached documents. Upon award, any provisions that were in the solicitation (including representations and certifications) will be removed from the award document.
