Reserved for PWD Maine Multiple Award Construction Contract II holders only.
Project includes complete modernization of the two existing electric traction passenger elevators at Building 990, Weapons System Laboratory, Naval Undersea Warfare Center at Newport, RI. This project will provide for new hoist motors, hoist machines, governors, all new controls, new runway cables, new steel ropes, new hall/floor call buttons, new firemanbs service, upgrades to the interior cab finishes, associated electrical work as well as all other work outlined in project drawings and the accompanying specification. Completed project will achieve two fully functional modernized elevators.
