Aviation Readiness & Resource Analysis Competency - IT Fleet Readiness Initiatives
The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to negotiate and award a one-year, sole source contract with TQI Solutions located at 2600 Eltham Ave, Suite 110, Norfolk, VA, 23513-2504 for continued logistic services in support of the NAWC-AD Aviation Readiness & Resource Analysis competency's (AD 6.8.4) ongoing Information Technology (IT) fleet readiness initiatives. The proposed contract action will be awarded pursuant to the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
A competitive follow-on procurement is being pursued and has an anticipated award date of November 2018. The NAWC-AD Aviation Readiness & Resource Analysis competency anticipates that with completion of this one-year contract, each of the IT readiness initiatives will be brought to a point in their development that the follow-on contract can be competed.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No phone inquiries will be entertained. However, responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement in writing by 2 May 2018 via e-mail to the attention of Erik Seastrand, erik.seastrand@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
