This is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis Posting in FBO.
The Army Contracting Command - Warren intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Long Term Contract (LTC) Request for Proposal (RFP) on 11 October 2019 for Auxillary Power Unit (APU); NSN: 6115-01-465-8922; P/N: 12367093; NAICS: 335312. The RFP will be a Small Business set-aside. The LTC has a minimum quantity of 12 EA and a maximum quantity of 206 EA.
The Auxillary Power Unit is an end item for the M88A2 Vehicles. The Technical Data Package is competitive, Distribution C. First Article Test (FAT) is required. However, vendors can submit a FAT Waiver Worksheet for a FAT Waiver.
The production lead time (PLT) with FAT (with Government approved FAT waiver) is 660 days after contract award. The production lead time (PLT) without FAT is 270 days after contract award for a quantity of 15 EA and a quantity of 15 EA for every month after the first delivery.
The Government FATR approval time is 30 days after receipt of FATR. Packaging is Military/A; the special packaging instruction number is AK1465892, dated 5 May 2011, Rev B. Inspection and Acceptance are Origin. Free on Board is Destination.
