The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) intends to award this purchase of automobile insurance symbol group data for use in index calculation under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106 (b)(1)(i) soliciting from a single source.
The contractor must collect 2 billion detailed records of insurance premiums collected and losses paid. Contractor must have 9.3 billion records for commercial lines, that data represents 70-75 percent of the entire industry's premium volume. For personal lines, the data represents about a third of the industry's premium. And for all lines, it's the largest and most credible single source of premium and loss statistics. Data will include:
Advisory Prospective Loss Costs- accurate projections of average future claim payments and loss-adjustment expenses
