Automatic Vehicle Locator Based Tracking
The Council announces a Request for Proposals from Service Providers of Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) Based Tracking of On-Road and Off-Road Vehicles. The purpose of the AVL Monitoring Service is to provide tracking of usage and mileage for vehicles purchased through grants and loan programs administered. The selected AVL Monitoring Service provider will contract directly with Grantees or loan recipients who are purchasing vehicles with assistance. The selected AVL Contractor will be responsible for managing and operating tracking services, consolidating data, providing training, documenting vehicle activity information, and quarterly reporting to the Council and vehicle owners.
