Automatic Fare Collection & Smart Card System
Metro is requesting proposals for major portions of a smart card and bus/rail fare collection system, providing interface specifications, modification of Metros current TVMs and SAVs to process smart cards and cooperating with Metros selected vendor of bus equipment in achieving a fully integrated automatic fare collection and centralized data processing and reporting system suitable for use on all modes operated by Metro, including bus, light rail and paratransit.
