This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is W81K0419Q0010 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice 20190628.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 532490, Medical equipment (except home health furniture and equipment) rental or leasing. The small business size standard is $32.5 million. This procurement is set aside for small business.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) has a requirement for the purchase of a 12-month lease of approximately 69 Philips HeartStart OnSite Defibrillators (M5066A; 861282) (brand name or equal). The Government tends to renew the lease agreement on an annual basis over a five-year ordering period. The defibrillators must meet the requirements identified in Attachments 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as the table below. The leased equipment shall be delivered to the Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) identified in Exhibit B of this solicitation. The required date for delivery and installation of the equipment at each identified site is 30 September 2019.
