Automated Data Archival Solution
The Board of Regents of The University of Oklahoma (University) invites interested Suppliers to submit Proposals to enhance the existing enterprise storage platform with software or appliance based archival solution to optimize storage utilization. The benefits to be achieved with this upgrade include: - Cost contained growth through migration of static data from high performance storage to archive storage. - Eliminate the need for mailbox quotas - Shorter operational backup periods - Reduced backup-media costs The University is soliciting proposals for robust, software / appliance based data and email archival solution that is compatible with EMC CLARiiON, Celerra, and Centera storage systems, and Microsoft Exchange 2003 / 2007. The University is seeking a turnkey solution to include installation, configuration and training services.
