W91YTZ-17-R-0094 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation

The Womack Army Medical Center-Contracting Cell Regional Health Contracting Office - Atlantic Army Health Contracting Activity US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Fort Bragg, NC 28310-7301, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract for an Automated Blood Bank Instrument to include reagents, consumables, training and maintenance of equipment for the Blood Bank, Department of Pathology at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued and is expected to result in the award of a firm-fixed price contract. The resulting award will be made on SF 1449, for commercial supplies. EST. This is solicitation number W91YTZ-17-R-0094 and is a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The size standard is 1,250 employees and the NAICS code of 325413.


Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310 has a requirement to provide an Automated Blood Bank Instrument to include reagents, consumables, training and maintenance of equipment for the Blood Bank, Department of Pathology at WAMC.


** MADATORY SITE VISIT: The vendor must coordinate and conduct a site visit for the purpose of surveying and assessing current laboratory set-up, laboratory environmental control, and available utilities with regard to potential placement of their instruments in the laboratory. Any changes to the layout of the laboratory, environmental control, or to utilities as currently in existence to accommodate placement of their proposed analyzers must be identified in the vendor's Solicitation for Bid response (i.e., must identify all site preparation requirements necessary for potential placement of their analyzers in the laboratory). The vendor shall be responsible for safeguarding all Government property provided for vendor use or access. The Site visit will be held on 8 August 2017 at 9:00 am Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) Fort Bragg, NC 28303.
