Autoclave Transportation Unit
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This Acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
The National Institute of Health, Division of Veterinary Services intends to procure autoclaves for the animals housed in specialized caging systems.

Specifications for the Autoclaves include:
Mobile Autoclave Transportation Unit
Approximate Size 36.50 wide 23.50 deep x 57.50 high
All stainless steel construction including casters which can withstand autoclave conditions
Filter media, located on both ends are contained between two removable stainless steel mesh assemblies, media is removable for changing purposes
Unit is supplied with double doors on one end of unit.Doors are gasketed with silicone gasket capable of withstanding autoclave conditions,for a secure seal
Unit is equipped with a drain in the bottom
Unit is equipped with eyelets on both ends of the 23.50 sides
