Augmentation of the Surveillance and Utilization Review Subsystem (S/URS) Functionality for NewMMIS Development Project
The Executive Office of Health and Human Services is issuing this Request for Responses (RFR) to solicit proposals from qualified entities to provide augmented functionality to EOHHS' existing Surveillance and Utilization Review Subsystem (S/URS). CMS requires that every Medicaid program utilize S/URS functionality in its Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), allowing development of statistical profiles of provider patterns of care and service delivery. EOHHS will be implementing a replacement MMIS in 2009; in combination with NewMMIS, this S/URS augmentation will provide more sophistication, flexibility and functionality to complement the capabilities of NewMMIS. Interested parties are invited to attend a Bidders' Conference on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 9am. Please see RFR Section 3.8.1 for more information.
