RFP : Audible Pedestrian Turn System in Ohio, United States

Pedestrian Alert System shall provide an audible alert for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle (bus). System interior volume to be adjustable to 10 to 15 decibels above ambient noise at the drivers area. System exterior to be adjustable up to 10 to 15 decibels higher than normal ambient city noise levels. The system shall be activated by a 45 degree turn (right or left) in the steering column mechanism. System shall be installed without extensive modifications to steering mechanism including steering column. Contractor is required to provide complete installation and support during the complete contract duration.
