ITEM DESCRIPTION - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for an Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) System including installation and training. AFMs perform advanced imaging and measurements. The AFM allows you to easily set-up and run a sequence of measurements unattended while automatically varying parameters without writing code. The Navy is issuing a solicitation on a full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.1 for an anticipated Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination, Inspection and Acceptance shall be at NSWC Crane. The following items will be procured:
0001 - Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) System in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation.
0002 - Installation and Training of the AFM System

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-19-Q-0022 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
