Association Website request for Proposals
The selection committee is seeking a firm or firms to assume this project as a sponsor (trade in-kind).
The selection committee will consider vendors who are willing to do part of the work on a sponsorship
trade-in-kind basis combined with a fee. The decision of who is selected for this project will be based
on who we think will do the best job for the best price. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase
your company’s creativity and talents. The KC AMA is the premier Marketing organization in the area.
Not only would you be recognized as designing our web site on the site itself, but you would be
accorded privileges and recognition as a key sponsor (Our top sponsors donate $15,000 cash per year).
Specifications:
The site must be built on an open source content management system such as Drupal, Joomla!,
or Wordpress.
Entire site should be updatable by AMA Admin
The site must be able to accommodate various permission levels for content creation.
The site must have a robust WYSIWYG editor.
The site must be accessible by a designated Super Administrator.
The theme should be created using blank regions for all content and not hard coded to a
specific place on the page.
The site must be accessible on the web server via file transfer programs such as FileZilla.
Database accessibility via software such as PHPmyAdmin is needed for backup and queries.
The site must include Google analytics.
The site must include a favicon (favicon image provided).
The site must include a site map.
The database must be backed up regularly. (frequency to be determined)
