Association Management System Implementation Project Management
The Association is a membership organization with a membership database of
400,000 members and an additional 700,000 customers. This database maintains the
membership, product inventory and ordering, meetings, subscriptions, and committee
components of the business. We currently operate the TIMSS system from TMAResources,
version 5.1. The ABA has also developed extensive web applications to enable e-commerce
and online customer service operations to be integrated into the database. The ABA plans to
replace the current system with a comprehensive association management system (AMS)
designed to meet the needs of a large membership organization with extensive non-dues
revenue business.
