This is a market survey for the replacement of approximately 9,000 square feet of asphalt pavement at the Indianapolis (IND) Air Route Surveillance Radar site located in Indianapolis, Indiana to include the following principle items: site demolition work; site work in preparation for construction of new asphalt pavement access road and parking area; placement of approximately 9,000 square feet of new asphalt pavement; and miscellaneous sit work.

The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time.

The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the request for quote. Therefore, any cost associated with the request for quote submission is solely at the interested vendorbs expense.

At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SMA for participation in the SBAbs 8(a) Program.

The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing pulverizing, grading and paving and crack seal and seal coat, as described in the attached DRAFT specifications and drawings.

This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms.

Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable.

In order to make this determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors:

1. Capability Statement b Vendors must document they possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

-Minimum of 3 similar projects for same/similar work to that of work in this market survey.

-At least two (2) of the projects submitted must be valued at over $150,000.

-Projects submitted must have been completed, or underway, within the last 7 years.

2. Additional Information b

-Type of services provided by your firm
-Size and type of services provided on previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance
-Number of years in business
-Verification of Active System for Acquisition Management (SAM) registration

Attached are the DRAFT Specifications and Drawings, and the FAA Business Declaration Form. Please respond by reviewing these items, submitting a completed, signed capability statement, and a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below).

Only vendors who respond to this market survey will receive a Screening Information Request or a Request for Proposal that may be generated as a result of this survey.
