The purpose of this Amendment is to issue Questions and Answers discussed at the site visit on July 26, 2017. No other changes.

Q1- Where is access to site?
A1- Trail Head in Lower Parking Lot near Ski Dorm Building. Area will be roped off for contractor use for asphalt loads.

Q2-Will all old asphalt be removed?
A2-No, most will be left in place with overlay of new. Three areas (less than 20' each will have old asphalt removed and park will prep and compact gravel base for contractor to overlay.

Q3-What will the bridge final condition be?
A3-Culvert is in place, park will finish installing stem walls on each side. The surface will be 8' wide compacted base.

Q4-Will asphalt surface be swept clean by park or contractor?
A4-Park will complete.

Q5-Are there designated areas where equipment can pass?
A5-Yes, all trails will be closed to the public so trail junctions can be used. Also, there are three areas where NPS has used as materials staging sites that can be used. No machinery can leave trail on to vegetation.

Q6-Can contractor stay on site anywhere?
A6-No, accommodations are at the cost of the contractor. Campgrounds may be available.
