B.1 ITEM NO. 1: NON-PETROLEUM BASED ASPHALT REMOVAL/EQUIPMENT CLEANING
PRODUCT:
Non-petroleum-based asphalt removal/equipment cleaning product to be used for removing asphalt
paving materials from paving equipment and hot mix asphalt plant equipment. Performance should be
equal to or better than that of Brody Orange Solvent Degreaser Product No.4028. Must meet EPA
regulations and result in a biodegradable and RCRA non-hazardous waste. Minimum flash point to be
140 F.
B.2 ITEM NO.2: NON-PETROLEUM-BASED ASPHALT RELEASE AGENT:
Non-petroleum-based asphalt release agent to be used for preventing asphalt paving materials from
sticking to paving equipment and hot mix asphalt plant equipment (may be water extendable).
Performance should be equal to or better than Brody Asphalt Release Agent Product No. 2608. Must
meet EPA regulations and result in a biodegradable and RCRA non-hazardous waste. Minimum flash
point to be 140 F.
