The Orlando VA Medical Center intends to solicit and award an acquisition for a conduction of an ASBESTOS SURVEY for ALL Buildings at Lake Nona, as required by the Department of Environmental Protection 40CFR, Chapter 61, Subpart M of the National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP). This includes the collecting and analyzing of samples from areas suspect of asbestos containing materials (ACM). A complete written report of the findings will be required. The performance period of this contract is 90 days from date of award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541620 with a related small business size standard of $15 million. The proposed action is for Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, which will be advertised as a 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. The solicitation will be posted on or about 23 May 2017, via fedbizopps.gov website. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
