Asbestos/Environmental Services
The Authority is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from firms to provide asbestos and environmental services on a term contract basis for various Authority clients located throughout New York State. It is Authority 's intent to enter into term consulting contracts with a number of firms statewide. The primary objective of the contract will be to provide inspection and monitoring services for asbestos, lead, mold, PCBs and PCB Caulk, hazardous and universal waste management and abatement projects. Other related services may be requested under the contract including investigations, survey work, project design, abatement project monitoring and/or air sampling, laboratory services, waste tracking and contract closeout services. Firms responding to this solicitation must have Asbestos Liability Insurance and a valid NYSDOL Asbestos Handler's License as required for the assigned work.
Interested firms must submit six (6) copies of an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the contact noted below no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 15, 2010. EOI's received after this date will not be accepted. Expressions of Interest should include GSA forms 254/255 or SF 330; three years demonstrated experience in the proposed work above and in performing this work under a term or on-call contract basis; sufficient qualified staffing to be assigned to the asbestos projects with valid NYSDOL certifications (inspector, designer, planner and project/air monitor); identify fully staffed office(s) readily able to provide services to projects within New York State; and a listing of all pertinent personnel and equipment available at each office to support the contract requirements. Firms deemed qualified by review of their respective EOI will be short listed and issued a Request for Proposal (RFP).
