As-Needed Therapeutic Apheresis Services
The City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health is seeking proposals for a timely and reliable source of as-needed Therapeutic Apheresis services for the Community Health Network (CHN), to be provided on-site at San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center (SFGHMC). Therapeutic Apheresis is a procedure in which a patients blood is collected, using automated Food and Drug Administration approved devices, separated into its components, the suspected pathologic component discarded and the remaining components returned to the patient along with replacement fluids, as needed.
