Miami-Dade County hereinafter referred to as the County, as represented by the Department of Cultural Affairs (CUA), is soliciting proposals for a web based Art Collection Software Management System for the Miami-Dade Art in Public Places program (MDAPP). The intent of this System is to provide a comprehensive database of all information and assets related to the Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places Collection. The proposed Art Collection Software Management System will enable public interaction with the MDAPP program, allow remote login of partner agencies for inventory purposes, provide artists with the ability to register with the County for art commissions, and manage calls to artists for new art commissions. The Department of Cultural Affairs would like to obtain a web based Art Collection Software Management System that has an Artists Registry option to support the MDAPP program. The Artists Registry is highly desired, but is not mandatory. The selected Proposer will be responsible for all software, implementation, testing, training, hosting, and ongoing support and maintenance throughout the initial term and any extensions or renewals issued by the County. The County anticipates awarding a contract for an initial three (3) year period, with four (4) one-year options to renew, at the Countys sole discretion.
