Army Aviation Support Facility - West Bend WI
This project will upgrade approximately 16,000 square feet of an existing unheated hangar to a heated hangar. Work will include:
Insulate the exterior walls, hangar doors, and ceiling and paint all exposed steel structure.
Install overhead infrared heating system, to include destratification fans.
Install new overhead lighting system, to include metal halide light fixtures.
Upgrade electrical system to include new panel and 120 volt and 208 volt three phase electrical outlets as required, and one 200 amp outlet for the mobile 400 cycle power unit. All electrical work must meet the provisions of Class I Division II where it is located within five feet of the aircraft fuel system and/or within 18 inches of the floor.
Extend existing compressed air systems into the hangar and install additional outlets as required.
Install new weather stripping and safety edge, replace central panel and drive mechanism, and rebalance hangar doors.
Install a mechanical exhaust and make-up air system.
Install a fire alarm system.
Clean and repair chemical resistant urethane coating on floor and repaint safety lines.
