Armendariz U.S. Courthouse Rain Gutter Construction
Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision to accomplish tasks as outlined in contract documents.
Demolition: Per stamped drawings dated April 29, 2014 by Parkhill, Smith & Cooper. Remove existing gravel and excavate on west side of lobby to prepare for new concrete flume. Cut hole in existing steel plate for pipe penetration.
Renovation: Per stamped drawings dated April 29, 2014 by Parkhill, Smith & Cooper. Install new gutter on exterior per drawings. Install new down leader piping and slope to allow proper drainage per drawings. All piping to be cast iron. Provide pipe supports and hangers as noted on drawings. Install gutter support framing composed of metal studs. Support framing will be wrapped with copper fascia panel on 30 mil water barrier (Tyvek or equal) on gypsum Sheathing (densglass or equal). Install new concrete flume that will line up with existing storm drain inlet. A concrete collar to be placed around existing storm drain inlet. Install new snow guard and rail on existing stand seam roof above lobby. All new piping and adjacent surfaces to be painted to match existing color of existing steel members. Coordinate color selection with GSA.
