Armed Security Support Services
This synopsis is a sources sought notice being used to conduct market research. The U.S. Government (USG) is seeking vendors with the capability of providing armed security services with the Combined Joint Operations Area - Afghanistan. The security services will include but not limited to Armed Security Guards for Entry Control Points, Tower Guards, Interior Roving Patrols, and Perimeter Security. Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV's) or up-armored vehicles may or may not be required for the Security duties.
The Government requests that interested parties provide a capabilities statement describing available assets, i.e. resources, weapons, up armored vehicles, NTV's, uniforms, and mobilization time frame to meet USG requirements or about June 2017. Capability statement will include Company Name, Point of contact, address, telephone, email addresses, and all security experience performed in Afghanistan. Submitting your company name by merely responding to this notice doesn't constitute being considered as a viable vendor whom can fulfill the USG requirement.
Additionally, submitted capability statements shall contain verification showing appropriate business license issued by the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AIS), Personal Security Company (PSCs) issued by the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan, and verification that your company is compliant with ANSI/ASIS PSC.1-2012 (Refer to DFAR 252.225-7039(4)).
No solicitation will be issued at this time. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued as a result of this Sources Sought.
