The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations, Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division, intends to procure up to five (5), 100% Small business set-aside contracts for armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) at the following facilities in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia:

These requirements are being solicited as commercial acquisitions in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR 15.  It is anticipated that single award, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contracts will be issued as a result of the solicitation. The NAICS code for the acquisitions is 561612, Security Guard and Patrol Services.  The size standard for NAICS 561612 is $20.5 million.

The overall period of performance will consist of five (5), twelve (12) month ordering periods with an additional six month optional ordering period pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 for each Lot.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) shall require the submission of a technical and price proposal. It is anticipated that the solicitation, RFP # 70RFP218REC000002, will be released to the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about May 31, 2018. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFP as well as any updates to the solicitation.  All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov) prior to the submission of their proposals.
