The Texas Tech University System ("TTUS") is seeking competitive responses to a Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for Architectural, Engineering, and Interior Design Professional Services for Texas Tech University System and its components: Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and Angelo State University.
It is the intent of Texas Tech University to maintain on file all Professional Services responsive qualifications for a term of four (4) years. Texas Tech University System intends to contract with various professional service providers for services in response to this Request for Qualifications. In no way should this RFQ be construed as intent to contract with a specific professional services firm(s) for any specific project. Qualifications will not be accepted after the closing time detailed in this RFQ document. Certain projects of a larger scope may require a separate RFQ process which will be conducted at a later date.
The Scope of Work will vary from project assignment to project assignment in complexity and the scope of services to be provided by the Prime Professional Service Provider. Services to be provided may include one or more of the items of service listed below:
Program Evaluation, Feasibility analysis, Testing, Studies/Reports, Conceptual Design, Cost Estimates, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding, basic Construction Administration, as-built plans and more extensive construction phase quality control and monitoring.
This process is being conducted to ensure that the System hires only qualified professional services providers for future projects for the System. A company responding to this RFQ will not be guaranteed any professional services contracts as a result of submitting a response.
