Architectural Services for the School Roof
The Town requests qualifications from architects that are licensed to work in the State of Connecticut , have experience working on Connecticut school roof projects, and are highly interested in providing architectural services to the Town of Columbia . The current roof on the School was constructed in segments, during several projects. Approximately half of the Schools roof is over twenty years old and the other half of the roof will reach the twenty year mark in the next two years. The architectural services to be provided to the Town of Columbia include, but are not limited to, the following; evaluation of the existing condition of the Horace W. Porter School roof; creation of roof replacement schedule(s); cost estimation of roof replacement options; and issuance of professional advice/guidance with respect to possible state grant opportunities.
