In support of the US Army Corps of Engineers Learning Center (ULC) in Huntsville, Alabama, this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is hereby attached. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions.

This solicitation, W912DY20R0003, is being issued as a Request for Proposal to develop and provide instructor led classroom instruction on the subject of Architectural Hardware -Quality Verification. This contract is to provide training instructions in the fundamentals of the industry including hardware materials and finishes, their purpose, use and application; basic information covering all architectural hardware products, terminology, and types of doors and frames; and the fundamentals of hardware schedules, preparation, and use.

This is a "best value" competitive acquisition for the award of a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. Award will be made to the best overall proposal, which is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government. Evaluation criteria is included in the solicitation.

This procurement is set-aside for small business (100%). The Government will issue a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430 and the small business size standard is $11,000,000.
