The Building Committee of the Solid Rock Church in Lanham, Maryland invites proposals from architects to partner in the planning, site development, design, and building construction of a new structure on its site, a nine-acre lot of undeveloped land located at 10111 Greenbelt Road, Lanham, MD 20706.
The congregation's views on the church's purchase of the land were solicited by SRFC's pastorate and leadership, and consequently, in March 2015 the congregation voted to approve the purchase of the land and proceed with planning for the implementation of initial phases of the church building project.
The project consists of providing guidance in the site development and building construction permitting process of the Prince George's County authorities of the State of Maryland, designing the Youth Center of the building complex for the church based on the Masterplan, and collaborating with a General Contractor (GC) for implementing the construction of the building for the Youth Center, which is Phase 1A of the SRFC Building Project.
