For project delivery, the County plans to follow the traditional “Design-Bid-Build”
construction method, excluding hazmat abatement. Per the County Green Building
Ordinance objectives, the building shall achieve a USGBC Certified LEED® Silver
rating. The Architectural/Engineering firm shall work with the Construction
Management firm, per LEED requirements, to achieve the LEED® Silver rating and
shall also work with the Commissioning Authorities retained to perform LEED
Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning requirements for the project.
