Architect/Engineering Services
Multi-use Community Facility
Town of Bluefield, Virginia is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to assist with the necessary A/E services for a design of a multi-use community services facility. A/E services may include, but not limited to, surveying, geotechnical, permits, bidding and advertising, construction contract administration, and inspection services. MBE/WBE/SBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Interested firms must comply with the following: The President's Executive Order Number 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President's Executive Order Numbers 12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Interested firms must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
Qualified, licensed firms shall submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 as part of their proposal. Five (5) bound copies of the proposal shall be submitted by 2:00 p.m. May 25, 2018 in order to be considered. Proposals should be sent to the Town of Bluefield, Attn: Billie Roberts, Community Development, (Multi-use Community Facility), P.O. Box 1026, Bluefield, VA 24605, or Overnight/Express to 112 Huffard Drive, Bluefield, VA 24605. All selections will be made in accordance with the Virginia State Procurement laws and Town of Bluefield purchasing policy. The Town of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any/or all proposals in whole or in part, to waive any informality and to base all conclusions, decisions, and actions in accordance with the best interests of the Town of Bluefield.
