The Planning Agency is soliciting proposals for professional services related to the management or control of nuisance aquatic plant infestations in the Lake Basin. Successful control of aquatic plants in the Lake will require synchronizing survey and treatment efforts and conducting repeated treatment of infestations on an annual basis to significantly reduce large source populations and eradicate smaller satellite infestations. This Project is intended to compliment the planning and oversight components of the collaborative Aquatic Invasive Species Program. The purpose of this RFP is to identify a contractor or team of contractors that can accomplish the objectives of the 2011 Project and additional years if resources are available.
